Very eloquent way of saying he doesn’t take challenges defensively
I’m actually looking forward to seeing how Kidd Sweeney & co. earn their paychecks in this series.
Maybe you start him on Jrue and hope he gets up more shots than normal. He’s a historically inefficient playoff scorer
If KAT has to initiate the vast majority of his offense from behind the 3 point line then they should move him.
I think the offense should try to be more creative & get their skilled 7 footer more touches closer to the paint, but for whatever reason that doesn’t appear to be a possibility.
So...
Goes both ways. Minnesota is very physical, you’re not #1 in the league without that
Problem is Luka is too big for them  Kyrie has been uneven as you would expect.
Marc Davis should let them play, which favors the Mavs w/the screens and the bigger ball handler.
I’d like to see Nash get back into it. I still don’t know what his style is. haven’t even seen an interview rumor since he’s been gone from Brooklyn.
JJ will be scapegoated for Pelinka’s incompetence like every other coach they’ve had in there, so just like with Nash I’m looking forward to...
They definitely won’t be back but what would’ve been the path forward with Bruce Brown’s contract instead? Only about ~$15M in cap room. That’d only get them another role player.
“may have prepared” you don’t trade for him if you don’t think he’s a max guy.
Prototypical wing size, proven versatile scorer and defender in the playoffs and can pass. Only 30.
Unfortunately for Denver, Jamal Murray also wasn’t running PnR in a pro league at 13 years old  His timing isn’t as unpredictable, he doesn’t get shoulder-to-shoulder as often, he doesn’t run it high enough, etc
