I’m just saying, the OG blue-toe question has always been a special shoe in the marketplace. Till now, anyway. I don’t really get why. It’s still special to me Only pair of non-Nike bball shoes I own.

I’ve been kinda baffled as to how/why the OG blue toe colorway tanked overnight, though. Previous drops sold well and for inflated resale prices. Now the 2022 retro sells for next to nothing. I have two pairs and the quality is solid, especially compared to most Nike retros.

The white leather on the violets is way better than that garbage they screwed the chloros with. I sold my remaining DS pair of chloros and bought three pairs of violets for next to nothing. Couldn't agree more. At the same time, I feel like there probably isn't as good of an explanation for a lot of the things we complain about in that regard. Mostly overall shape of shoes, which we've seen Nike obviously can make better because it has made some of them better lately. But for sure...

I mean, I guess. So many shoes, even top-tier models, hit big clearance all the time back in the day. If they were unpopular and rotting on shelves, or even popular but "old" because the new models had come out, no one wanted them anymore. Hell, I remember my good friend got the white/infrared...

Glad people are getting them. I want a pair just for posterity but when I'm honest with myself, I know I won't wear them enough to make it worth it. Hope everyone is enjoying their pairs.

I've worn them for an entire day running all over town and think they are pretty comfortable. Oh, and I even went down 0.5 from my normal size 11 🤷‍♂️
