I think about this all the time, especially in the basketball segment. The tech itself hasn’t changed much since the mid 90s, just the uppers moving away from natural materials. I don’t know why they don’t use the PU they used for the 2020 recraft 90s. Those are light and soft like the old PU...

I would’ve preferred if they just stated they got as close as they could but couldn’t match it 1:1 for whatever reason. There’s no reason to front like they are perfect when they are not. At least the box is nice >D

The pores in the polyurethane is completely normal, always been there.

Probably because it takes a LONG TIME for the nubuck to start peeling.
