I don’t know how or why release dates between Nike Europe/Canada are different with Nike US, but it happens frequently. We got these early, but sometimes we get stuff late, or in some cases, we don’t even get releases at all (e.g. Kobes)
I’m assuming they will. I don’t see why the usual spots wouldn’t get a release. These aren’t a super limited quickstrike or anything.
And I’m not gonna lie - I bought a pair today to secure my pair, but in all likelihood, it’s going to be an SZ pair. I’m not a centimeter warrior or anything...
Wanna know what Sean’s videos are like? Next time you watch a show on TV, turn on the described audio feed. Dude makes videos for blind people.
“The shoe is white”. “The box is orange”. “It has a big swoosh on the lateral side, and a smaller swoosh on the medial side”
Sure, but you don’t think Rubin is going to make a bid for the NBA? Dude pretty much runs nbastore.com and a bunch of the other team stores, already has relationships with the league since he used to be part owner of the Sixers, already has a deal in place for collectibles and the replica...
I think Fanatics is going to make a bid for the next NBA contract when Nike’s deal is up. They already have the NHL contract for next season. Once that Nike deal expires in 2027, I think Rubin steps in and makes a huge bid to get the NBA contract.
My daughter’s club volleyball season ended last week, and now I’m bored. Need to find another sport to enrol her in for my entertainment. Lol.
Also, my daughter’s team is 13U and they finished first in the final 14U tournament. I can’t wait till next season when they actually start playing kids...
That suitcase is useless. I actually got rid of my 3 pairs of mids because of how heavy that thing was. Would always need to be at the bottom of the stack because if it was on top of a regular shoebox, it was crushing em.
I know we love to complain about Nike and the trash they release, but just remember - Fanatics is coming, and they will absolutely ruin everything. Lol
Limited release was expected I guess. These didn’t drop in Canada the first time around, so I had to call Scheel’s in Grand Forks and they shipped them out to me. Didn’t realize I’d get hit with $100 in duty and brokerage fees from UPS, so it was basically like paying resale.
But yeah, these...
This is going to be one of those pairs that I will turn my nose up at for retail, but if I see them at the outlets for dirt cheap, I’m walking out with a pair to use as beaters.
I get that the new release is likely to be better, but shaming a guy for rocking a pair, that again, at that time, was the first release since 2000 to have NIKE AIR branding seems really callous to me. Especially when everyone making jokes doesn’t even have the new pair in their hands yet.
