***WOMEN'S HOOPS THREAD*** Congrats, UNDEFEATED SOUTH CAROLINA! Congrats, LAS VEGAS ACES!

Not a single lie told

I don't doubt that CC's gonna come good eventually but there was always gonna be a STEEP learning curve for her in the pros especially coming off a deep NCAA run and basically no offseason.

She also joined the worst team around for damn near 2 years running , nothing's gonna come easy there.

As some folks are shockingly finding out, everyone in the league is very good in their right . You have so many highly touted high draft picks yearly who end up not even making rosters come preseason that's how tough the competition is.

She's not gonna out talent anyone in a league full of good players unlike in college. It's gonna be a process, which she'll get through without fuss 100%, but I just hope that the fans she's brought to the game are patient and give her time and grace as she figures it out.

Skylar was awful her first year. Plum was trash too. That jump from playing against family ma’ams is real

Gil made a good point.

The actual transition time from last college game to 1st pro game is so short on the women's side compared to the men's side. The women don't get that summer to touch up their skills nor get into the gym to build their bodies. So it's no surprise that they struggle for a physical standpoint. (For those that do).

Gonna be that backlash like the white people who are stillll to this day mad that Obama was president.

Going to be a bunch of dudes saying dumb **** for years because the WNBA got a lil popularity bump. Don't be one of those dudes yall.

I would assume dude didn't know who Lobo was. That has to be what it was.

I get that but I’d almost rather get right to it. Scoot had all the preparation on the men’s side but guess what, nothing going to prepare you like in-game reps. She got the biggest target on her back, the W is going to give her playoff intensity every night. They basically changed all the rules for her.
