agree on the overwhelmed hype (super limited during ASG) and marketing around the QNTM that it didn't live up to expectations was it demise. i really liked them but the fit was terrible for casual, let alone being marketed with hooping capabilities.

Official release took too long. Should have been within two weeks of ASG at least and they should have dropped the louder colors sooner. It was just way too much teasing with that model

im an 11 and got size 3 and feel like theyre too big. even though the model on the page is an 11 and wearing a 3

feel like they should have fit tighter considering theyre sock

I still wear my basektball version of the OG pair, I like them. Gotta cover the top with baggier pants though.

I got them years later for the low though.

nah not wild at all lol QNTM one of my fav but I just cant make the fit work (swapped insoles, no insoles etc.). AE1 and Harden 8 could easily be a 700 VXXX shoe lol

The size guide on their site sucked. I’ve watched a bunch of reviews and you basically need a size 2 until almost size 12. Size 3 is only for big big feet.

Qntms were great. I just don’t think people wanted to rock with a chunky basketball looking shoe. Didn’t go well with people’s joggers. Maybe if they had dropped now during the baggy pants resurgence it’d be different.

These have honestly aged better than pretty much every YE-designed shoe (including his Nike line). I think it will honestly go down as his best.

Agreed but I think the 350v2 is arguably a better shoe. I personally like the wave runner better. The 700 v1 and the 500 are the two models that made me give the Adidas line a shot. But I think the 350v2 was more impactful, more important, and will age better. It's almost 10 years later, they hype is wiped, and its still a good looking shoe I have to admit and more importantly looks great on foot. I think if the Ye/Adidas relationship didn't sour and Yeezy limited releases to like 3-4 a year, it would still be going strong.

Doesn't matter if I keep em loose or tie them tight, tts or half up, still the fabric on the Achilles area starts to shred.

Weird because I’ve never had this problem and I’ve run my analogs into the ground.

I haven’t put many miles into my Waves so maybe it’s cw dependent?

Yeah true both Solars and Waves are insanely versatile. That’s probably accurate that they’re extinct designs though.

Makes me wish I copped a 3rd pair of Waves when they were only like $20 above retail on the resale market.
