Went down the rabbit hole of these kind of videos and I need to step my tagalog speaking game up.



They've come a long way from Travis:lol:



It’s really fascinating to see and hear other nationalities pick up the language. If you close your eyes, you can pick out some sort of Visayan accent on top of her Tagalog. Cool stuff!
 
I've been living here for a decade now and it's not shocking anymore to hear white dudes or Koreans speaking bisaya. My father in law is German and he mixes tagalog and bisaya talking to the locals.

Ngl, THAT escalated quickly. Relatable to some degree tho lol. I grew up in a similar situation because my mom was the first one to emigrate to the US so she was absent for the most part of my childhood. We’re all still close with our own “Nanay” back in the Philippines.
